We are based in central Fife a short drive east of the M90 at The Old Ironworks in Auchtermuchty, this is a excellent base for sites throughout Fife and Perthshire.  We have a smaller base in Inverness and can work in Inverness-shire, Ross-shire and Moray.  We will also travel throughout Scotland to carry out specialist projects.

Alison Davie

Alison gained a Traditional Building Fellowship with Historic Scotland in 1996 and focussed on lime burning, lime mortar, stone cutting and dressing.  Following this she worked as a sub-contractor and site manager for masonry contractors in Scotland (Duncan J Strachan, LTM, R.Little) before setting up Little and Davie Construction (2007-2013). Within this successful partnership she worked as Project and Site Manager, this period included the repairs at the Old Schoolhouse, Angus, for the National Trust for Scotland which won the Europa Nostra Award for Cultural Heritage. Alison also won the Marsh Trust Traditional Builder of the Year Award in 2009.  In 2014 Alison Davie Construction Limited was formed which continues the work with stone and lime with the same team of skilled employees.
